The job your crew finished is the pay they get

Notifi runs the field. Sequifi runs the payroll. Completed jobs become the basis pay is calculated from, with no spreadsheet in between.

Notifi does not do payroll and is not trying to. Sequifi already built a payroll, HR and commission platform for field teams, so the job record hands off to it.

Why it matters

Payday gets worse as the shop gets better

The better a shop gets at booking work, the worse payday gets. More jobs means more per-job payouts, more splits between the setter and the closer, more spiffs to honour and more claw-backs to remember.

So somebody in the office spends a day a week rebuilding the week from job records into a spreadsheet, and the technicians find the mistakes. Nothing damages trust in a shop faster than pay that is wrong twice in a row.

Connecting the two removes the retyping entirely. The jobs your crews completed in Notifi become the basis Sequifi pays on, so the argument moves from what happened to what the plan pays, which is the only conversation worth having.

How it works

The handoff, in detail

Completed work, not a spreadsheetWhat the crew finished in Notifi is what Sequifi pays on. Nobody rebuilds the week by hand on a Monday.
The pay plans shops actually runPer-job payouts, piece rate, setter and closer splits, spiffs and claw-backs, calculated from real job outcomes.
W-2, 1099 and commission-only togetherSequifi runs all three in the same pay cycle, which is how most home service shops are actually staffed.
Next-day direct depositSequifi pays the field fast, which matters more to technician retention than almost anything else you can offer.
HR in the same place as payOnboarding, documents and the pay record live together rather than in three systems that disagree.
Payroll stays out of Notifi, deliberatelyWe are not building a payroll product. Sequifi already built a good one, so the job record hands off to it.
Questions

Payroll, answered

Does Notifi do payroll now?

No, and it is not going to. Notifi runs the work: the CRM, scheduling, dispatch, the job, the estimate and the invoice. Sequifi runs payroll, HR and commissions. The integration is the handoff between them.

What actually moves between the two systems?

Completed job data. The work your crews finished in Notifi becomes what Sequifi calculates pay from, so the pay run is built on the jobs rather than on someone retyping them.

Which pay plans does this support?

The ones home service shops really use. Per-job payouts, piece rate, setter and closer splits, spiffs and claw-backs. Sequifi handles the plan logic, including W-2, 1099 and commission-only people in the same cycle.

How fast do technicians get paid?

Sequifi offers next-day direct deposit. Timing and eligibility are set by Sequifi.

Do we need a Sequifi account?

Yes. Payroll, HR and commissions are Sequifi products, so you contract with them. Once you are set up, the two systems are connected during onboarding.

We already have a payroll provider. Does Notifi still work?

Of course. Notifi runs the same either way. Sequifi is for shops that want the pay calculated from the work automatically instead of exported and rebuilt.
