Why it matters

Materials are the biggest cost on most jobs and the least tracked. Nobody knows what is on which van, so a part gets bought twice, or a crew drives to the supply house for something that was already sitting on the shelf.

What is Ply?

Ply is an inventory management and replenishment platform for the trades. Stock across warehouses and trucks, supplier catalogs, RFQs and purchase orders live there.

What moves between Notifi and Ply?

The job and the materials it consumes. Notifi knows what work is happening and what went on it; Ply holds the stock, the suppliers and the purchasing behind it.

How does the counting actually happen?

By scanning rather than by stocktake. Ply tracks material as it moves, which is the only approach that survives a busy week with real crews.

Do we need a Ply account?

Yes. Inventory, purchasing and supplier relationships are Ply products, so you contract with them. Notifi is where the job that consumes the stock lives.

Does this replace our supply house?

No. Your supplier relationships stay as they are. This is about knowing what you hold and reordering it without somebody rekeying a list.

When can we use it?
